Overview

  • Create a Mannabase.com user account here
  • Log in to your account, then look for the green banner at the top of your dashboard with a link to finish the verification process.
  • You will be asked for various personal information to verify you are a unique person. Once complete, you will either be immediately approved or in some cases, pending further review.

Manna is distributed weekly as a basic income to all verified users on an ongoing basis. The amount distributed is equal to 3.5% of the circulating money supply per year.

The amount each user receives is based on the number of verified recipients and the current circulating supply. So 0.067% (3.5%/ 52 weeks) of the circulating supply is evenly distributed amongst all verified recipients each week.

​For instance, if there are 50,000 verified users and a circulating supply of 500 Million Manna, then each user would receive 6.73 Manna that week in base UBI.

In order to promote user growth, Manna has created a referral bonus program. You can participate in this program by logging into your account and copying the referral link on your dashboard. Simply share this link and you will receive bonus Manna for anyone who signs up using your referral link and is approved for UBI.

Important:​ You will only receive the bonus Manna for those you have referred that have been verified and approved.

Example: ​You refer 10 people and all of them are approved for Manna basic income. The UBI for that week equals 10 Manna. You receive the 10 Manna, plus 100 Bonus Manna.

Note: ​The current referral program is temporary and will likely change over time. If you sign people up after the referral program has been updated, your new referral bonuses will be based on the new bonus structure.

You can send Manna to other Mannabase users, or out of your Mannabase account to a desktop wallet (either your own or somebody else’s), or to exchanges where you can sell it for other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. From there, you can sell your Bitcoin for your native fiat currency like the US dollar.

Longer term, we plan to improve the usability of Manna through a number of solutions:

  • Partnering with businesses to directly accept Manna as payment.
  • Partnering with digital currency debit card companies to allow you to store Manna in a debit card, then instantly spend it even at businesses that do not accept Manna or digital currency. They just would need to accept major credit cards like Visa. (Companies like Tenx and Monaco are currently developing this solution.)
  • Partnering with websites where you can buy gift cards to most major establishments with your Manna.
  • Utilize our targeted giving features to give Manna to charities, artists/creators, and people in need.

Please visit this page, and click the buttons in the "Mining Pool" section for information and instructions. Please note: you cannot mine Manna through mannabase.com or with your desktop wallet. In order to do so, you will need a hardware mining device.

Common Issues

Please visit the login page. Then, go to the forgot password page. Enter the email address that you used to sign up for your account. You will receive an email with a reminder of your username and a link to reset your password. There, you can login with your username and password.

Note:​ Please make sure you are logging in with your username, not your e-mail. The only way to log in is with your username, which is not the same as your email address.

We're sorry to hear that you were unable to complete the application process for Manna Universal Basic Income because of issues with verifying your mobile phone number.

Our technology is unable to process and verify numbers from some mobile phone carriers at this time. We are looking into solutions for how we can support more users to become verified for Manna UBI using phone verification.

Meanwhile, if you would like to be verified within 1-2 weeks, please send a scan or image of your government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, to [email protected]. Also include the e-mail associated with your account.

Manna Universal Basic Income is distributed once per week, and each recipient who is approved before the weekly distribution occurs will receive an equal share of the manna distributed that week as UBI, plus referral bonuses. ​Please note that on distribution days, it may take a few hours after the distribution clock has reached zero. Please wait until the following day to contact support if you are concerned you have not received the weekly distribution. If your account has not been approved, please make sure all of these steps have been completed:

Please note​, some misinformation has been spread on social media about how many coins each person receives in our distributions. For example, some people have promoted Manna by incorrectly saying that everyone receives 500 manna per week or a 500 manna signup bonus. That is not how our program works, and we are doing what we can to prevent such confusion in the future.

We’re sorry that your application for Manna Universal Basic Income could not be automatically approved. Our website uses algorithms to detect applications that may require manual review by Mannabase staff. The purpose of this is to prevent duplicate applications by the same person.

Your application for Manna UBI is in the queue for review and potentially approval. Because of the large number of applications that are pending review, please expect to wait 1 to 2 weeks for your application to be processed. Thank you for your patience.

If your application is still pending after 2 weeks, please submit send a scan or image of your government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport, to . Also include the e-mail associated with your account.

This is because only referrals that have created an account show up on your dashboard. Your other referrals only completed step one of providing their email. We are working on making the sign-up process simpler and more straightforward so that more referred individuals complete the full process. If you believe this is not the case, please contact support.

First, please review the, “How much will I receive each week?” question above. If you still believe you have manna missing from your account, please provide a screenshot of your dashboard and let us know when your account was verified. If it was done so before the distribution, we will submit a claim to the developers to review your account.

We are sorry to hear you would like to have your account deleted. Our developers are currently working on creating a system so that you can delete your account yourself. In the meantime, please email mail​@mannabase.com​. If you care to share your reasoning as to why, please include this as well so we can improve in the future.

Important​: If this is your first time sending Manna, we recommend sending a very small amount to make sure you are doing the process correctly and not lose any substantial value from a mistake.

  • Click “Send” on the dashboard page.
  • In the recipient box, enter the manna public address you would like to send your manna to. (On some browsers, you may need to press space or return to ensure the address is inputted.)
  • Enter the amount of manna you would like to send in the “amount(manna)” field.
  • Press Send.
  • You will receive an email confirming the transaction. If this is a transaction you initiated, click the button in the email to confirm the transaction.

Our team is actively working on getting listed on more exchanges. We understand the importance of providing accessibility and liquidity to Manna. If you have any recommendations, please feel free to share them on our Telegram channel, or you can contact support with your suggestion and we will be happy to look into the exchange(s) in greater depth.

If you are not receiving confirmation emails for signing up or making a transaction in your mannabase account, this is because your email provider is blocking ​[email protected]. Please ensure your settings are adjusted so you can receive emails from this address.

There is no virus in the Manna wallets. Some antivirus programs produce a false positive because this is peer-to-peer software which is released by a small company that is not known to the antivirus companies. If you are still not comfortable using the downloadable wallet because of warnings from their antivirus software, then we recommend you use the Mannabase web wallet only.
